DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – The City of Dallas says it has found 12 areas where it can improve regarding its stray animal response in its review of last month’s deadly dog pack mauling of Antoinette Brown.

The 52-year-old woman died after family members say she was bitten more than 100 times.

The 74-page report on how to address the city’s loose dog problem was released Friday.

Proposed improvements include prioritizing 911 calls about animal attacks, increasing priority of warrants served for animal owner violations, adding Dallas Animal Services to the 911 dispatch system and sending vehicles home with animal control officers for faster response.
